Job Summary
Delivers patient care by conducting initial and ongoing assessments, analyzing data, and creating treatment plans within the Intermediate Care Unit. Administers medications safely while coordinating care with interdisciplinary health team members and directing patient teaching activities. Serves as the primary point of contact for care coordination across hospital departments and acts as a patient safety advocate by participating in ongoing quality improvement initiatives. Requires a valid nursing license and BLS certification; scheduled weekly hours are 36, with shifts in the evenings and nights.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Basic Life Support
- Valid nursing license from the state of practice
- Associate of Nursing, nursing
- Diploma in Nursing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing
