Job Summary
ICU Registered Nurse responsible for delivering exceptional nursing care to critically ill patients. Utilize organizational and leadership skills to assess patient status, determine priorities, implement and evaluate care plans, and administer medications in a safe manner. Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams, synthesize information for evidence-based actions, anticipate changing patient conditions, and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment. Requires current RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as noted. Night shift with 36 weekly hours. Education: BSN preferred but not required. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred, not required
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- BLS Basic Life Support or ACLS Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS required within 6 months of hire)
- PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support (required in lieu of BLS/ACLS for Pediatric Units)
- 1 year of RN experience (required)
- 6 months RN experience in a Med/Surg, Critical Care, Stepdown, or Emergency Department Unit (preferred)
