Job Summary
Provide emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, friends, and families while completing the nursing process and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members. Supervise assigned team members and promote patient health restoration within the Intensive Care Unit. Work rotating PRN shifts at St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur, IL, with shift differentials added to the base rate. Requires a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications; Critical Care experience and specialty certifications are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in state of practice
- Valid multi-state RN license as outlined in the Nurse Licensure Compact rules (Wisconsin)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's of science in nursing
- Critical Care Nursing experience
- Specialty certifications based on patient population such as Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN)
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN)
