Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) to work in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) with a 36-hour work week (7am-7pm with occasional rotation) in Elkton, MD. The ICU is 9 beds with a 2:1 patient ratio. Responsibilities include delivering patient-centered care in a multidisciplinary team, caring for complex patients with sepsis, respiratory failure, CRRT, stroke, GI bleed, DKA, and other critical conditions; collaborating with pharmacy, respiratory, intensivists, PAs, and consultants; supporting skill development in critical care and advancing nursing practice. Requires a BSN; ADN candidates may be considered if committing to obtain a BSN within three years. BLS is required; ACLS is preferred and must be obtained within 3 months of hire. Required Qualifications
- BSN required
- ADN candidates are considered with commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of hire
- At least one year experience in acute care
- BLS required
- ACLS preferred (must obtain within 3 months of hire)
