Registered Nurse RN Intensive Care

Coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in accordance with the department and practice standards in the ICU, using established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. Serves as an advocate for patients/families/caregivers, teaches patients and families about condition, treatment plan, medications and follow-up measures, and collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, and deliver a holistic treatment plan that supports recovery. Documents care in the patient record and contributes to quality measures and process improvements. Includes responsibilities around education for patients/families and ongoing clinical excellence.
