Registered Nurse (RN) Inpatient Surgical Unit Gainesville, FL

Provide comprehensive post-operative nursing care for abdominal and general surgery patients, monitoring recovery, administering medications, and performing wound assessments and dressing changes. Educate patients and families on discharge instructions while managing up to 7 patients per shift with accuracy and organization. Collaborate with physicians and surgical teams to ensure optimal outcomes, documenting all assessments and interventions per hospital policy while adhering to safety and infection control protocols. Requires active Florida RN license, minimum one year experience, and BLS certification. Night shift, 12-hour rotating weekends, $30.69 to $43.20/hr with significant sign-on bonuses and relocation assistance.
