Job Summary
Provide nursing care as part of the interdisciplinary team in the Patient Care Unit at Aspen Valley Health's rural Critical Access Hospital. Serve as the primary nurse in the 25-bed facility, managing inpatient services with rotating 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends. Maintain competency to deliver care while holding an active Colorado RN license, an Associate degree in Nursing, and at least one year of RN experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
- Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
- Pediatric Emergency Assessment, Recognition, and Stabilization (PEARS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- At least 1 year of experience as an RN
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing
- MEDSURG-BC and/or PED-BC
- Experience with EPIC
- Bilingual in Spanish
