Registered Nurse (RN) - Inpatient Rehab (Nights)

Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care in an inpatient rehab setting by performing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds and case reviews to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes while adapting service delivery to patient-specific characteristics and cultural diversity. Partner with patients and families for bedside shift reports and just-in-time teaching, maintaining accurate documentation and promoting a respectful clinical environment. Uphold the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and Wellstar policies, participating in performance improvement initiatives and shared governance activities. Complete mandatory education, serve as a preceptor, and utilize evidence-based practice to address clinical questions and optimize resource use.
Required Qualifications
- Associates in Nursing
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support or ARC-ALS - Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support or ACLS-I - ACLS - Instructor or ACLS-P - ACLS-Provisional (180 Days)
- BLS - Basic Life Support from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- Ability to read, write and speak English language
- optimize the use of technology to support clinical care and holds basic computer skills
- Strong interpersonal, collaborative skills along with customer service skills
- Ability to function in a fast paced environment and respond to emergencies in using a decisive, composed and respectful manner
- Possess excellent time management skills
- Possess strong critical thinking skills

- Bachelors Nursing
- Minimum 1 year Direct patient nursing care experience
