Job Summary
Direct and provide professional nursing care on a 28-bed inpatient unit using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Delegate nursing assignments, prepare schedules, oversee admissions and discharges, and monitor and order medicines and supplies. Maintain current RN licensure in Idaho, BLS certification, and recent ACLS and PALS certifications. Demonstrate strong verbal and written English communication skills for safe patient care and documentation. Work as a compassionate, patient-focused professional adhering to all professional nursing standards.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in the State of Idaho
- Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- ACLS certification within six months of employment
- PALS certification within six months of employment
- Demonstrated skills in verbal and written English communications for safe and effective patient care and to meet documentation standards
- Ability to relate and work effectively with others
- Aware of professional nursing standards and performs in accordance with them
Desired Qualifications
- Previous nursing experience strongly preferred
- BSN strongly preferred
