Job Summary
Inpatient Oncology RN delivering direct oncology nursing care across units, including comprehensive assessments, care planning, and administration of chemotherapy/immunotherapy per protocols; manages central venous access devices, provides patient/family education, documents in Epic, participates in quality/safety activities, and collaborates with interdisciplinary team. May serve as charge nurse/preceptor; supports clinical research and adheres to infection prevention and hazardous drug handling standards; shifts are Nights, 36 hours/week with rotating weekends, located in Boston-area facilities with full-time benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing (BSN strongly preferred); candidates with an associate degree must complete a BSN within 4 years
- Massachusetts RN license (unrestricted)
- ONC/ONCC Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Certification or obtained within 6 months of hire (role-dependent)
- BLS required; ACLS preferred depending on work area
- 1 year of recent RN experience preferred; oncology/hematology experience in inpatient or infusion clinic setting preferred
- Experience with EMR (Epic) preferred
