Job Summary
Provide direct patient care on the Inpatient Medical/Surgical unit, managing adult patients with conditions such as respiratory infections, cellulitis, and pneumonia. Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary teams while ensuring patient safety, completing documentation, and delivering compassionate care. Perform frequent assessments and assist with patient mobility, including lifting up to 50 pounds and prolonged standing. Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM as a part-time role with self-scheduling available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire)
- Ability to lift and assist up to 50 pounds
- Prolonged standing and walking
- Ability to bend, reach, kneel, squat, and assist patients safely
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Prior hospital or acute‐care nursing experience
- Specialty certifications
