Job Summary
Conduct inpatient hematology/oncology patient care by collecting clinical data, following protocols, and documenting care plans. Monitor safety policies, ensure timely certification compliance, and communicate concerns to leadership. Facilitate patient education using teach-back methods and integrate age-specific and culturally inclusive concepts into care. Participate in shared governance councils, interdisciplinary team meetings, and peer/student learning experiences. Apply ethical decision-making and interprofessional practice models to advocate for patients and families.
Required Qualifications
- Associate/Diploma prepared RNs from ACEN, CCNE or NLN CNEA accredited institution
- 2+ years of experience
- Active Ohio RN License
- May be required to obtain other state licensure
- Foreign graduates must have license validated through TruMeritTM per Ohio Board of Nursing code for Foreign Graduates
