Job Summary
The Registered Nurse RN - Inpatient Case Manager coordinates patient care processes to ensure optimal clinical outcomes and efficient resource management. Responsible for length of stay management and regulatory compliance, this role involves collaboration with physicians and healthcare teams for necessary transitions of care. Candidates should have an associate degree in nursing, licensure in Georgia, and several years of experience in direct patient care or case management.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed to practice as an RN in Georgia
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in direct patient care and/or case management
Desired Qualifications
- CCM (Case Management Certification) or ACM (American Case Management Certification) preferred
- Critical care, cardiac, medical, and/or surgical nursing knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Professionalism and interpersonal skills
- Ability to think critically and solve problems
Additional Requirements
- Must demonstrate excellent observation skills and be self-directed
- Ability to work all scheduled shifts, including weekend rotation
