Job Summary
RN Clinical Nurse in inpatient behavioral health providing patient-centered, evidence-based care within an interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include performing the nursing process, coordinating care, conducting interdisciplinary rounds, ensuring documentation accuracy, promoting safety and quality, participating in performance improvement initiatives, and precepting/mentoring other nurses or students. Requires active nursing license (Georgia/compact) and BLS certification; 5+ years of direct patient care experience preferred. Sign-on bonus and relocation assistance available. Located in Austell, GA.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program or graduation from an approved nursing school (Required)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- RN with RN Licensure (Nurse Licensure Compact)
- BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - Instructor preferred
- Minimum 5 years of direct patient care experience (Required)
- Current knowledge of Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and ANA Code of Ethics Standards
- Ability to perform nursing process and evidence-based practice
- Strong teamwork, communication, and interdisciplinary collaboration skills
- Precepting/mentoring responsibilities for staff or students (Preferred)
