Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in Indianapolis facility. Responsible for making rounds to observe and evaluate physical, emotional and social needs of residents; administers medications and treatments; consults with physicians; coordinates with nursing staff; assists with admission, transfer, and discharge; monitors vital signs and patient status; documents observations; contributes to care planning and supports patient and family education.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years experience in nursing in a long term care environment
- Must be a Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing and currently licensed in the state they are working in
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and strong organizational skills
- Demonstrates good judgment, problem solving and decision making skills
- Excellent communication, leadership and mentoring skills
