Job Summary
Conduct full-time night shifts in the Intensive Medical Care Unit float pool, providing safe, therapeutic, and patient-centered care for complex medical patients. Deliver clinical practice and care coordination while integrating knowledge, skills, and experiences to meet patient and family needs throughout the continuum. Communicate effectively with healthcare teams, utilize standards and guidelines for care delivery, and determine processes through direct communication and collaboration. Mentor staff, serve as a preceptor, and demonstrate leadership in decision-making and problem-solving. This role supports Inova Alexandria Hospital's commitment to healthcare excellence and expanding community services.
