Registered Nurse (RN) II ICU, FT Nights

Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for ICU patients using evidence-based practice. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and bedside teaching to ensure safe, individualized care while documenting progress. Partner with patients and families to set goals and adapt service delivery to cultural diversity. Mentor staff and students, lead performance improvement initiatives, and participate in shared governance activities. Develop protocols to reduce re-admissions and adverse events, and consult experts to address clinical questions. Maintain current certifications in ACLS and BLS, and uphold Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act standards.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in a single state or RN-Compact
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or Amer Red Cross Advanced Life Support (ARC-ALS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARC-BLS)
- Minimum 2 years direct patient care experience
- Ability to read, write and speak English
