Registered Nurse (RN II) Cardiac Med Surg Charge Nurse

Charge Nurse role for Cardiac Med Surg at Houston Methodist. Provides nursing care to a diverse patient population, leads unit and shared governance activities, coaches department staff, mentors students/new employees, and coordinates unit and hospital-wide education in partnership with management. Responsibilities include nursing assessments, exams and treatment support, documentation, leadership at bedside, and collaboration with physicians and interprofessional teams to ensure safe patient care and continuous improvement. Must demonstrate clinical leadership, effective communication, critical thinking, and adherence to nursing standards and patient safety.
