Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU role providing comprehensive patient care on a neuro-focused unit. Responsibilities include ongoing patient assessment, developing and documenting individualized care plans, coordinating with the healthcare team, supervising non-RN personnel, serving as preceptor and charge nurse, and supporting education and discharge planning. Requires proficiency in neuro assessment, airway management for neuro patients, care for trached patients, ventilation support, and knowledge of the Tia Teaching Program. Must meet performance expectations in customer service, teamwork, resource utilization, and self-development; EEO/AA/Disability/Veteran compliant.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- 1 Year acute nursing experience required
- BSN Preferred
- BLS Required
Desired Qualifications
- BSN preferred
- Critical Care or Emergency experience preferred
- BSN preferred
