Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Provides patient care on a nursing unit/department in the ICU, including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and supervision of patient care. Supervises non-RN personnel, serves as charge nurse, and may work on other nursing units as distribution of staff and patients requires. Demonstrates and teaches neuro assessment and care, airway management for neuro patients, tracheostomy/ suctioning, and use of related equipment. Acts as preceptor to new staff and may provide education and contribute to discharge planning and follow-up education for patients and families. Requires active nursing degree with BSN preferred and 1 year of acute nursing experience; BLS required; licensure in the appropriate state.
