Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices in an acute inpatient ICU setting. Collect data, identify nursing priorities, and develop individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Provide direct patient care, delegate tasks appropriately, and monitor quality while ensuring patient safety and adherence to safety protocols. Document progress, teach patients and families, and participate in performance improvement audits. Report changes in patient condition and refer unresolved problems to the healthcare team. Maintain licensure and complete mandatory education to uphold professional competency. Night shift; weekend and holiday coverage may be required.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing
- One (1) year experience as a registered nurse
- Holds a current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or is licensed to practice as an RN in the state the team member is working
