Job Summary
Conduct clinical direction for all aspects of patient care in an acute inpatient ICU setting, utilizing evidence-based practices for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Develop individual plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team, while validating goals and outcomes prior to discharge. Provide direct patient care consistent with the nursing plan, monitor quality of care through performance indicators, and complete assigned quality improvement audits. Teach patients and families using accessible language, maintain a safe environment adhering to safety protocols, and coordinate tasks utilizing internal and external resources. Work night shifts at Blount Memorial Hospital, reporting to a supervisor, with weekend, holiday, and on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree in Nursing
- One (1) year experience as a registered nurse
- Current RN compact/multistate license recognized by the NCSBN Compact State or licensed to practice as an RN in the state the team member is working
