Job Summary
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU provides high-quality patient care utilizing the Nursing Process, including patient assessment, care plan implementation, and patient education. This role involves collaborating with healthcare teams and demonstrates the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks effectively. The RN is required to maintain current certifications, including ACLS, PALS, and TNCC within specified timeframes. The position demands physical stamina and mental acuity for managing acute patients in a high-stress environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Current Washington State RN Licensure
- HCP (Healthcare Provider) Level of BLS (Basic Life Support) within 30 days of hire
Desired Qualifications
- Experience as an acute care registered nurse preferred
- Minimum one year of RN experience preferred for specialty nursing departments
- Critical thinking skills
- Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written forms
- Demonstrates competency in ability to care for customers/patients across the age continuum
