Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) ICU Per Diem Level 1 with night shift responsibilities in Voorhees, NJ. Responsible for assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through outcome identification and evidence-based practice. Coordinates patient care and communicates with the healthcare team, patients, and families. Administers, monitors, and documents therapeutic interventions; effectively manages rapidly changing situations. Participates in clinical decision-making, educates patients and families about disease processes and care needs, delegates and monitors nursing care, and participates in performance improvement activities. Maintains professional competencies and adheres to standard precautions and patient safety principles.
Required Qualifications
- Must have valid NJ RN License
- Approved licenses must be presented and maintained in accordance with the State of New Jersey Licensing Board
- Demonstrates knowledge of nursing skills and hospital practices; ongoing education
- Strong communication skills; ability to coordinate a team of care providers
