Job Summary
Provide compassionate ICU care as an Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU, including assessing patient needs, initiating appropriate nursing interventions, delivering care appropriate to patient condition and age, timely documentation of medical necessity, completing and revising the Interdisciplinary Care Plan, and performing timely QI assessments while ensuring patient comfort and safety. Also includes supporting ongoing professional development and meeting certification requirements (BLS, ACLS, PALS) and licensure prerequisites.
Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited nursing school
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- ACLS within six months of hire
- PALS within six months of hire
- One year of experience preferred
- ASLS certification preferred
