Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality direct and indirect, patient-centered care. Coordinate patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and communicate the patient's clinical condition, responding quickly to changes in status or treatment response. Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles to provide age-appropriate care to the served population while promoting the profession through collegial support. Maintain certification in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. All shifts available at MMH-71 Haynes Street.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current licensure in the State of Connecticut
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally as well as in writing using the English language
- Basic computer skills
