Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality, direct, and indirect patient-centered care. Coordinate patient care through collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. Communicate the patient's clinical condition accurately, responding quickly to changes or treatment responses. Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles to provide age-appropriate care to the served population. Promote the nursing profession through collegial support and interactions. Maintain certification in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. Report to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current licensure in the State of Connecticut
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally as well as in writing using the English language
- Basic computer skills
