Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality, patient-centered direct and indirect care. Coordinate patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and communicate the patient's clinical condition, responding quickly to changes or treatment responses. Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles to provide age-appropriate care to the served population. Promote the profession through collegial support and interactions while reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager. Requires current Connecticut licensure, BLS, and ACLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current licensure in the State of Connecticut
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally as well as in writing using the English language
- Basic computer skills
