Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality, patient-centered direct and indirect care. Coordinate patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and communicate clinical conditions accurately to respond quickly to changes in patient status. Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles to provide age-appropriate care across the lifespan. Promote the nursing profession through collegial support and interactions while reporting to the Clinical Nurse Manager. Maintain certification in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support. This role is a 12-hour shift within the Greater Manchester Region, serving a population of 300,000 people in Connecticut.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current licensure in the State of Connecticut
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally
- Ability to effectively communicate in writing
- Proficiency in the English language
- Basic computer skills
