Job Summary
Utilize the nursing process to provide high-quality direct and indirect, patient-centered care. Coordinate patient care by collaborating with the interdisciplinary team and communicating clinical conditions accurately to respond quickly to changes in patient status. Demonstrate knowledge of growth and development principles to deliver age-appropriate care to the served population. Support the nursing profession through collegial interactions and report to the Clinical Nurse Manager. Requires current Connecticut licensure, BLS, and ACLS certification. Schedule includes every other weekend and holiday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Current licensure in the State of Connecticut
- Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS)
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally as well as in writing using the English language
- Basic computer skills
- Availability for every other weekend and every other holiday 2 x 8hr shifts
