Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU Float

Registered Nurse (RN) in an ICU Float role providing patient-centered nursing care across Neuro and Cardiac ICU units. Responsibilities include assessing the patient’s physical and psychosocial condition, developing and documenting an individualized plan of care, coordinating care with the healthcare team, evaluating patient responses and readiness for discharge, and serving as a preceptor and charge nurse. Demonstrates competency in neuro assessment, airway management of neuro patients, care of tracheostomy patients, and specialized procedures (e.g., Halo brace, ventilator care). Requires solid foundation in nursing practice with emphasis on integrity, respect, accountability, and compassion; BSN preferred and CT RN licensure with BCLS certification.
