Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Float

Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Float role performing comprehensive patient care across ICU units under supervision of the Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; supervising non-RN staff; acting as charge nurse and preceptor; adapting to unit needs; and ensuring patient education and readiness for discharge. Demonstrates competency in neuro-focused care, airway management, and procedures for patients including those with tracheostomies or on ventilators; utilizes the organization’s teaching program; and adheres to unit policies. Requires BSN preferred and 1 year Neonatal ICU experience; CT RN licensure or current valid RN license.
