Job Summary
ICU Float Registered Nurse providing neuro-focused patient care under supervision of Nurse Manager/Clinical Coordinator. Responsibilities include assessing and planning care, implementing and evaluating plans, supervising non-RN staff, acting as Charge Nurse, precepting new staff, and coordinating education and discharge planning. Demonstrates competency in neuro assessment, airway management (including suctioning and ventilator/NPPV care), tracheostomy care, halo brace care, and Neuro procedures, with clinical focus on Neuro patients and related teaching programs.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing
- BSN Preferred
- 1 Year acute nursing experience required
- Valid State Of Connecticut Registered Nurse License
- BLS Required
