Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Float provides and supervises complex patient care in Neuro and Cardiothoracic ICUs, develops and communicates Plan of Care, coordinates with healthcare team, teaches and precepts new staff, serves as Charge Nurse, and supports discharge planning. Requires active RN license in CT, BSN preferred, BCLS certification, and ability to care for neuro and cardiac patients, including patients with advanced devices and ventilators. Must demonstrate competency in neuro assessment, airway management, and specialized procedures, while upholding our values of integrity, patient-centered care, respect, accountability, and compassion.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- BSN preferred
