Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Float at YNHHS. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care on an ICU unit, supervising non-RN personnel, serving as charge nurse, and precepting new staff. Demonstrates competency in neuro patient care, airway management, and care of patients with tracheostomies or on ventilators; familiar with Halo brace care and the Tia teaching program. Requires 1 year Neonatal ICU RN experience; BSN preferred; valid CT RN license. Strong emphasis on education, teamwork, resource utilization, and patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate Of An Accredited School Of Nursing; BSN Preferred. Proficient In Use Of Computer Software To Include Electronic Patient Records.
