Job Summary
Provide staffing support throughout Vineland and Elmer medical centers ICUs to meet patient volume and acuity. Perform direct patient care in various ICU settings with potential reassignment to Step-Down Units. Maintain current New Jersey RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and Critical Care certifications upon hire. Complete enrollment in a BSN or MSN program within six months of hire. Work full-time night shifts in a high-acuity environment involving frequent patient exposure and varied temperatures.
Required Qualifications
- You must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position
- Minimum of 3 years post education clinical experience and competencies for ICU units
- Current New Jersey RN license
- Current American Heart Association – BLS Health Care Provider upon hire
- Current American Heart Association – ACLS upon hire
- Critical Care course completion upon hire
- Must be able to lift <20lbs occasionally
- Must be able to lift 20-50lbs frequently
- Must be able to climb occasionally
- Must be able to kneel occasionally
- Must be able to carry frequently
- Must be able to hear clearly
- Must be able to walk frequently
- Must be able to push frequently
- Must be able to talk clearly
- Must be able to see clearly
- Must be able to work in a noisy environment
- Must be able to work in varied temperatures
- Must be able to work around cleaning agents
- Must be able to work with noxious odors
- Must be able to work with frequent patient exposure
- Must be able to work with operative equipment
