Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU Float

Registered Nurse (RN) in the ICU/Neuro ICU units engaged in comprehensive patient care planning and supervision. Responsibilities include assessing patients continuously, developing and coordinating a Plan of Care with the healthcare team, implementing and evaluating care, educating patients and families, serving as a preceptor to new staff, and acting as charge nurse. Demonstrates competency in neuro assessment, airway management including tracheostomy care, care of ventilated patients, and familiarity with cardiac ICU procedures and devices. Requires nursing graduation and CT RN licensure, with BCLS certification; BSN preferred. Provides care in specialized units such as Cardiac ICU, CTICU/WP3, and CVICU with emphasis on high-acuity cardiac and neuro patients and adherence to organizational values.
