Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU Float

Provides Registered Nurse (RN) care on Neuro ICU/Cardiac ICU units, including supervision of non-RN personnel, charge nurse duties, and precepting new staff. Develops, communicates, and documents care plans; collaborates with the healthcare team; evaluates patient responses and readiness for discharge; plans education for patients and families; demonstrates competency in neuro care, airway management, ventilator care, and procedures such as tracheostomy suctioning. Responsibilities include caring for post-operative cardiac surgery and complex neuro patients, participating in advanced therapies/device management, and adhering to unit policies. Seeks continuous improvement through education and professional development.
