Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU position requiring BSN preferred with CT RN license; 1 year NICU experience required. Provides comprehensive patient care on a neuro/ICU unit under supervision, develops and documents care plans, coordinates with healthcare team, serves as preceptor and charge nurse, and supports education for patients and families. Demonstrates skills in neuro assessment, airway management, ventilator and suctioning needs, tracheostomy care, halo brace handling, and post-procedure care; familiarity with TIA teaching program and use of electronic records. Strong emphasis on customer service, teamwork, and adherence to unit policies; may work on other units as distribution of staff and patients require. BLS required.
