Registered Nurse (RN) - ICU

ICU Registered Nurse role focusing on neuro patients, with responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating individualized patient care on the nursing unit. Includes supervision of non-RN personnel, delegation as Charge Nurse when applicable, potential work on other units, and precepting new staff. Responsibilities include planning and documenting plans of care, coordinating care with the healthcare team, educating patients and families, and ensuring ongoing patient outcomes and readiness for discharge. Requires use of electronic patient records and demonstrated competency in neuro care, airway management, tracheostomy care, ventilator management, and participating in the Tia teaching program.
