Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing care for ICU patients from admission through discharge or transfer, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate interventions. Deliver expert education and act as a patient advocate, leader, and mentor for assistive personnel while managing critical care procedures, disease processes, and pharmacological agents. Provide specialized plan-of-care interventions and serve as a patient-care innovator leveraging cutting-edge technology. Work three 12-hour shifts weekly, including every third weekend, starting at 1900. Requires current state RN license, one year of ICU experience, and ACLS certification within six months.
Required Qualifications
- Current state RN license
- Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
- BLS for Healthcare Provider upon hire
- ACLS required within six months of hire
- One (1) year of ICU experience
- COVID-19 vaccination
- Drug and Alcohol Testing
Desired Qualifications
- BSN
- Experience in critical care
- Previous experience with IntraAortic Balloon Pump, Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy
- CCRN certification
