Registered Nurse RN ICU

Job Summary
ICU RN (Night shift) delivering care to cardiovascular patients including post Open-Heart Surgery, OR, Cath lab, and IR in Banner Estrella Medical Center's 2B ICU. Provides direct patient care with ventilated patients, vasoactive drips, CRRT, and other critical-care needs; 3 twelve-hour night shifts (7:00 pm–7:30 am) with opportunities to use self-scheduling and weekend differential. Performs comprehensive assessments, plans and coordinates discharge planning, and collaborates with multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective care in a Level 4 Trauma Center setting. Requires ongoing nursing practice competencies and may involve mentoring newer staff; favorable to experienced ICU nurses with critical care background.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, temporary/interim RN license in state of practice, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice
- BLS certification is required
- Experience in the clinical area for which they are applying is desired
