Job Summary
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols for the critically ill adult and geriatric population. Implement and monitor patient care plans while assessing and coordinating discharge planning needs with the multidisciplinary healthcare team. Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines to ensure well-coordinated patient care and note physician and nursing orders. Work full-time weekend shifts totaling 24 hours per week in a 28-bed ICU environment.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing OR current home state license for multi-state license recognition 'Compact State' obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
- Full-time Weekend Shift, 24 Hours/Week
