Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) needed to care for individuals with developmental and/or intellectual disabilities in a residential setting. Responsibilities include supervising and training direct care staff on medication administration, hygiene, diet, and safety; administering medications and treatments as prescribed; generating incident, seizure, and illness reports; maintaining medical records and completing nursing notes; ensuring annual medical appointments and lab work are scheduled and followed; and coordinating with the team to address health issues. Requires NYS RN License and an Associate's degree (or equivalent) with 0-6 months of related experience; opportunities include comprehensive benefits and advancement potential.
Required Qualifications
- NYS RN License
- Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school
- one to six months' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
