Job Summary
RN on Heart Failure/Cardiac ICU units with supervision responsibilities, charge nurse duties, and specialized neuro/cardiac procedures; expects competency in Neuro patient care, airway management, suctioning, tracheostomy care, LVAD/ECMO devices, and critical care nursing practices; role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary team, precepting and potential unit/shift leadership, and adherence to organizational values and standards of practice.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
- BSN preferred
- Current BCLS certification or obtain within one month of hire
- Licensed and currently registered nurse in the State of Connecticut
- Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged
