Registered Nurse (RN) in the HVC Heart Failure unit at Yale New Haven Health System. Provides patient-centered nursing care guided by ANA standards, professional practice model, and CT Nurse Practice Act. Responsibilities include assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care, health teaching and promotion, and evaluation; leadership and collaboration with patients, families, and the health care team; adherence to professional ethics, culturally congruent practice, effective communication, and ongoing professional development. Requires BSN-preferred education, CT RN licensure, and certification encouraged; unit-specific cardiac and cardiovascular inpatient care experience is implied across multiple cardiac units.
