Job Summary
Assess, treat, and communicate patient needs with speed and clinical precision across cases in Stephenson, Winnebago, Lake, Ogle, Kane, Will, and surrounding counties. Deliver professional nursing care, conduct thorough patient and family assessments, and contribute to individualized care plans. Administer medications per physician orders, identify nursing diagnoses, and record accurate clinical notes including pain management outcomes. Coordinate with community health partners, arrange necessary equipment, and maintain clinical skills through continuing education. Work an 8 AM–8 PM schedule with alternating 4-day and 3-day weeks including weekends. Requires active RN license and local driving ability.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of employment
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing
- Valid driver's license
- Willingness to travel locally
- Flexibility and confidence working across varied patient assignments
- Strong assessment skills
- Sound clinical judgment under pressure
- Excellent documentation habits
- Communication skills
