Job Summary
Deliver specialized pediatric nursing services across Perinatal, Palliative, and Hospice programs, performing comprehensive assessments, coordinating case management, and implementing provider orders to promote patient comfort and quality of life. Provide patient and family education, maintain security and HIPAA confidentiality of medical records, and organize complex assignments while adhering to the State Nurse Practice Act. Work flexible 10-hour shifts (8am-6pm) with a set day off Tuesday or Wednesday, including occasional weekend and holiday on-call rotations. Requires current NY RN licensure, two years of nursing experience with pediatric preference, and a valid driver's license.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in the State of New York
- Valid Driver's License, free of serious violations, and vehicle required for use when on duty or on-call
- (2) Years of nursing practice as a professional nurse
- Must have schedule flexibility to meet patient needs
- Accepts assignments per program policy for weekend, holiday and on-call scheduling
