Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our dedicated healthcare team in home health. The role involves providing expert patient care across diverse clinical settings, including assessment, treatment, education, and ongoing management of patients' health conditions. Responsibilities include administering medications and injections (including IV infusions), utilizing EMR/EHR systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance, assisting with diagnostic procedures, and delivering specialized care for patients with complex needs such as ICU or Level I trauma center cases. The nurse will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across settings (emergency rooms, hospital medicine units, outpatient clinics, or long-term care facilities) to develop and implement individualized care plans. Requires a valid Florida RN license and experience in hospital medicine, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute care. The position offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for advancement and development.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in good standing with the state of Florida
- Proven experience in diverse clinical environments such as hospital medicine, ICU, emergency medicine, or post-acute care settings
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and diagnostic evaluation techniques
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation
- Experience with specialized procedures such as wound care, G-Tube, ostomy care, infusions, or ventilator management is preferred
- Critical care experience or Level I/II trauma center background highly desirable
- Ability to perform complex patient assessments and manage acute pain or infectious disease cases effectively
- Excellent communication skills for triage situations and working with individuals of all ages—including pediatrics and geriatrics—and those with developmental disabilities or dementia care needs
