Job Summary
Provide expert patient care as a Registered Nurse in a home-health setting. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications and injections safely (including IV infusions), and document in EMR/EHR systems while ensuring HIPAA compliance. Support diagnostic procedures (phlebotomy, imaging when required) and deliver specialized care for patients with complex conditions in diverse settings. Educate and collaborate with patients and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans, focusing on safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in home-health environments.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Florida RN license
- Proven experience in hospital medicine, ICU, emergency, or post-acute care settings
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, and diagnostic evaluation
- Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for accurate medical documentation
- Experience with wound care, G-Tube, ostomy care, infusions, or ventilator management (preferred)
- Critical care experience or Level I/II trauma center background desirable
- Excellent communication skills for triage and working with diverse patient populations
